Denmark’s Foreign Minister Lene Espersen says she has little faith in Col. Gaddafi’s acceptance of an African Union proposal for a roadmap for peace in Libya.

“It appears that Gaddafi has accepted the African Union’s conditions for a ceasefire. It is difficult not to be sceptical. Particularly when Gaddafi on the one hand agrees to a ceasefire and on the other hand uses his tanks to try to enter Misrata and Ajdabiya. I do not have much faith in Gaddafi’s announcements,” says Espersen in an e-mail to Politiken.
