A 34-year-old Swedish man had to leave 148 cases of beer at the Danish border in Rødby in Denmark after police stopped his sagging vehicle.
The man arrived in Denmark from Germany where he had bought the beer, but was stopped by officers who felt that his Mercedes van seemed unduly overweight and waved him in for a check weigh-in.
