A major police raid in the Christiania area of Copenhagen earlier in the evening has caused widespread unrest into the night, with riot police using teargas to disperse agitators.
Police said that earlier in the evening, troublemakers had built barricades at Prinsessegade and Sankt Annægade in COpenhagen, but those involved were quickly dispersed and hindrances removed so that traffic could pass freely again.
