New figures from the National Institute of Public Health show that in 2009 some 8,300 children were admitted as a result of trampoline accidents, an increase of more than 6,000 on the 2005 figure.

As a result, the Safety Board, Children’s Accident Foundation and the Consumer Council have launched the ‘Jump with your head’ campaign to focus on how to avoid accidents.
