The Danish operated and partially Danish-owned Susan K freighter has been hijacked off Salalah in Oman, according to the A.C. Ørsleff company which operates the vessel.
The hijack took place on April 8, 200 nautical miles northeast of Salalah. Although Ørsleff partially owns the vessel, the German shipping company Nimmrich and Prahm is the negotiating party, according to Ørsleff CEO Peter Knudsen.
