The Danish People’s Party says that if it is to support the government’s 2020 Plan in on-going negotiations, it wants border controls, which were abolished as part of the Schengen Agreement, to be reintroduced at Danish borders.
“It is difficult to imagine an agreement in which we do not get tight controls at our borders,” DPP Chief Negotiator Kristian Thulesen Dahl tells Jyllands-Posten.
