March unemployment was at 162,400 or 5.9 per cent of the labour force according to the latest figures from Statistics Denmark and was stable compared to February.
The figures do, however, show a slight fall in unemployment in the first quarter of 2011, with 3,900 fewer out of work than in December 2010 when 6.1 per cent were out of work.
