Pirates put pressure on family

A week after Somali pirates have rejected an offer of DKK 3 million to release seven Danish hostages, the yacht’s hijackers have increased pressure on the family by announcing that the mother and daughter in the group are ill.

According to an interview in somaliareport.com with pirates holding the family and two crew, the daughter has a fever and is not eating or drinking enough, while the mother developed a skin illness three weeks ago.
