Denmark and the rest of the world should expect terrorist groups to be hell bent on vengeance for the next couple of years, in order to exact revenge for the death of Osama bin Laden, according to Denmark’s Military Intelligence Service (FET) Chief.
“We see the global terrorism threat as having increased and there is a greater risk of attack than prior to bin Laden’s death. The groups’ abilities and capacity to attack Western targets remain unchanged, but their interest in putting the issue at the top of their priorities, rather than local issues, will be much greater,” says FET Head Thomas Ahrenkiel.
