The organisers of the Cannes Film Festival have declared the Danish Film Director Lars von Trier persona non grata at the festival due to his statements about Nazism and Adolf Hitler.
Von Trier’s film ‘Melancholia’ will, however, continue to compete at the festival, according to reports from Cannes.
