Integration Minister Søren Pind is looking to introduce affirmative action for some foreigners in order to make it easier for them to achieve family reunion in Denmark.
“We have a major problem in that the immigration law is so full of equality concerns that we make it too difficult for people who are prepared to positively engage themselves in Denmark. The rules have been full of legal issues and misunderstood equality concerns,” Pind says .
