Tax Minister Peter Christensen says that German complaints about Denmark’s plans to introduce permanent customs border controls are misplaced as Germany itself practices the same type of border controls.
In an interview with Der Nordschleswiger, Christensen (Lib) says that eight other European countries practice the same sort of border controls and says he cannot understand German criticism “given that Germany itself has the same sort of border controls that Denmark plans to introduce”.
