Osama bin Laden had it coming, and no-one should lament his passing.
He was a representative for the view that random civilians are legitimate targets in political and religious confrontation. A terrorist who spread death and destruction, and who by transforming his fanaticism into a religious vocation caused irreparable damage - both to his victims as well as to the millions of Muslims whose religion he threw suspicion upon.
