In justifying its own plans to introduce a permanent customs presence at Danish borders, the Danish government has claimed that six other EU countries have 24-hour controls at their borders within the EU space.
But the six countries – Lithuania, Germany, Sweden, Finland, Poland and Portugal have rejected the claim, according to Jyllands-Posten.
