With a fresh bullet wound seeping blood onto his hospital bed in Turkey, a young Syrian farmer speaks of events which led him an 1,000 other Syrians to flee a brutal Syrian Army Division that has surrounded Jisr al-Shughur, 20 kilometres from the Syrian-Turkish border.
“The bullet is still in there,” says the farmer who witnessed last Sunday’s attack against Syrian civilians, but which the Syrian authorities say claimed the lives of 120 Syrian soldiers in an ambush carried out by heavily armed bandits.
