Prime Minister Lars Løkke Rasmussen has rejected the Conservative Leader Lars Barfoed’s call for an early referendum on Denmark’s EU opt-outs, saying there is little point in going to the electorate to receive a ‘No’.
“It would be good for Denmark to get rid of the opt-outs. So at some point we will have to get rid of our inferiority complex at joint (Ed: the EU) fully,” Løkke Rasmussen told TV2News..
