30% of young people have back pains

The number of Danes in the 16-24 age group with back pains is just as high as in the rest of the population, according to a report from the National Institute for Health.

“This is significant and worrying. The figures show that back complaints are not an age issue. On the contrary they often come early in life,” says Lene Witte, CEO of the Arthritis Association which commissioned the report.
