The torrential rain that hit Copenhagen over the weekend has resulted in extensive damage to private homes and public buildings.
Many Copenhagen day-care centres, sports facilities and other public buildings have been flooded, with personnel working feverishly to contain the damage that followed more than two months’ worth of rain in a brief period on Saturday.
