Overall unemployment in Denmark rose by a seasonally adjusted 2,600 in May to 161,900 or an increase of 5.8 to 5.9 per cent of the labour force according to the latest figures from Statistics Denmark.
The agency says, however, that unemployment has fallen by 7,100 or 0.3 per cent since its most recent high point in July 2010.
