There are as yet unconfirmed reports that Somali pirates have reached agreement with representatives of a hostage Danish yachting family, with the report saying that the family can be expected to be released sometime next week.
“The pirate group agreed to accept USD 3 million as a ransom for the release of the Danes and USD 4 million for the release of the vessel and her 23 crew members,” Somalia Report says on its website.
