With widespread rumours that the prime minister will be calling an election next week, the latest Megafon opinion poll for Politiken and TV2 puts the opposition alliance firmly ahead.
The poll says that the Social Democratic-led opposition would garner 53.2 per cent of the vote or 93 seats if an election were held now compared to the government alliance’s 46.8 per cent or 83 seats in the 179-seat Folketing.
