Denmark is better-placed than the countries it compares itself with, both with regards to deficits, debt and incentives, according to Finance Minister Claus Hjort Frederiksen (Lib) who presented the government’s budget proposal Wednesday.
“We are better off than most of the other countries,” Hjort Frederiksen says, despite presenting a 2012 deficit of DKK 85 billion and increasing unemployment.
