The Socialist People’s Party Leader Villy Søvndal is making it clear that his party wants to remove the rule that requires spouses to be at least 24 years of age if they want to bring a foreign spouse to Denmark as part of family reunion rules, according to Berlingske.

According to the report, the rule will be maintained during the first electoral period following an election but then the party wants it to be rescinded.
