Centre-left indicates foreign policy

The centre-left parties have now announced some details of a common foreign policy platform, a week after the Socialist People’s Party Leader Villy Søvndal came under pressure for statements about recognising Palestine.

The platform says that Denmark under a centre-left government will work for a common European Union recognition of Palestine, rather than Søvndal’s original suggestion of recognition by a smaller group if the EU is unable to reach consensus.
