The 12 minutes extra work that the Social Democrats (SDP) and Socialist People’s Party (SPP) have called for, will not kick in until 2015, according to remarks in a television interview with SPP Leader Villy Søvndal and his Deputy Chair Astrid Krag.
“The most important thing is to get out of this crisis and create more jobs. It doesn’t make sense to work 12 minutes more now, at a time when there are long queues at unemployment offices and when unemployment has increased for the third month in a row,” said SPP Deputy Chairman Astrid Krag during the programme.
