The Social Democratic Leader Helle Thorning-Schmidt wants to relax the government’s points system for permanent residency permits to Denmark, according to Jyllands-Posten.
“We cannot accept that foreigners who have had a short period of illness or have received contributions for medicine are disqualified from receiving permanent residency in Denmark,” Thorning-Schmidt says.
