The forecast from an average of the latest polls seems to indicate clearly that Helle Thorning-Schmidt (SocDem) will be taking over the premier’s office after today’s general election, according to Professor Søren Risbjerg Thomsen on Altinget.dk.
Based on an average of the latest opinion polls from various polling institutes, those pointing to Thorning-Schmidt as the next prime minister will garner 52.3 per cent of the vote, while those favouring Lars Løkke Rasmussen are forecast at 47.5 per cent.
