After initial weekend negotiations and discussions with the Socialist People’s Party and Social Liberals, the turn came Monday to the Red Green Party (Enhedslisten) as the Social Democratic Leader Helle Thorning-Schmidt continues to explore her options for a government platform.
“We presented our demands, and I am very optimistic that the Social Democrats have an understanding that the Red Greens should of course also have influence on the platform,” said Red Green Leader Johanne Schmidt-Nielsen, whose party is the parliamentary basis for a Social-Democratic-led government.
