H.C. Andersen’s Boulevard in Copenhagen, which carries some 60,000 vehicles through the city each day, is closed from this morning and a week hence as preparations are begun for next week’s Road Race cycling World Championships.
“H.C. Andersens Boulevard will be closed from Thursday morning at 5 a.m. and for a week. Among other reasons because the start and finish line will be there and studios have to be constructed,” says Niels Tørslev of Copenhagen Council Traffic Centre.
