The Social Democratic Leader Helle Thorning-Schmidt is expected to go to Queen Margrethe II at 16.30 this afternoon to announce she is able to form a government that will make her Denmark’s first woman prime minister.
The government platform and ministerial list is not expected to be made public until a news conference to be held at the Prime Minister’s Office on Monday.
