Prime Minister Helle Thorning-Schmidt presented her cabinet to Queen Margrethe this morning, emerging from Amalienborg Palace to applause and chants of ‘Helle, Helle, Helle’ from hundreds of well-wishers.
“We look forward to the job and look forward to getting on with it,” said a smiling Thorning-Schmidt, flanked by Social Liberal Leader and Economy Minister Margrethe Vestager and Socialist People’s Party Leader and Foreign Minister Villy Søvndal.
