Parliament opens today for the new parliamentary year with the maiden speech by Denmark’s first woman prime minister, but without the traditional catalogue of proposals for upcoming government legislation.

The prime minister’s office tells Politiken.dk that the catalogue will not be published until November as the government has only just launched its platform and has not had time to translate the platform into proposals for legislation.
