A Danish soldier on foot patrol has been seriously wounded in connection with a roadside bomb explosion west of Patrol Base Line in Helmand Province in Afghanistan, the Army Operational Command has announced.
The soldier, the eighth Dane to be wounded in Afghanistan over the past month, was from the Danish Artillery Regiment in Varde. Relatives have been informed.
