DONG Energy is acquiring the British gas trading company Shell Gas Direct for some DKK 260 million in a deal expected to go through in the next few months, according to a DONG company statement.
Shell Gas Direct has a portfolio of some 2.5 billion cubic metres of natural gas, is one of Britain’s biggest b-to-b gas trading companies with 11 per cent of the British market and some 100 employees.
