MPs call for action on antidepressants

Both sides of the parliamentary divide are calling for an investigation into why the Danish Medicines Agency failed to inform general practitioners of the possible serious side-effects of taking anti-depressants during pregnancy.

According to Ekstra Bladet the Agency was already aware of reports of serious side-effects and deaths of Danish babies in 2007, but the information was not made public until 2011.
