A Danish and an American aid worker have been kidnapped in northern Somalia, according to reports from the Danish Refugee Council’s Danish Demining Group.
The 60 year-old Danish man and 30 year-old American woman were working for the Danish Demining Group when they were kidnapped in the town of Galkayo, according to a Ritzau report citing Peter Klansøe, the Danish Refugee Council Director in Nairobi.
