Foreign ministers of Denmark, Sweden, Norway, Finland and Iceland appealed Wednesday to Israelis and Palestinians to show restraint and resume the peace negotiating process to further a two-state solution.
“Right now we must urge both parties to stop the escalation of confrontations. Only negotiations can ensure a permanent solution,” the Swedish Foreign Minister Carl Bildt said.
