Greenland to investigate CIA renditions

Denmark has agreed to a Greenland demand for a report on CIA rendition flights which used Greenland territory and/or air space, and the extent to which the Danish government was aware of the flights.

“We have asked the Danish Institute for International Studies (DIIS) to carry out the investigation and report back on May 1,” Foreign Minister Villy Søvndal said Wednesday at a joint news conference with Greenland Prime Minister Kuupik Kleist.
