Pirates holding two de-miners hostage in Somalia are demanding some DKK 50 million for their release, according to Ekstra Bladet.
Poul Hagen Thisted, 60, and his American colleague Jessica Buchanan, 32, were abducted by pirates last week as they left a de-mining seminar in the Somali town of Galkayo. Both Thisted and Buchanan work for the Danish Demining Group under the Danish Refugee Council.
