Vestas says that a new round of layoffs can be expected next year and that the wind energy market is unlikely to improve for some time.
“We forecast that the Western world at least is moving into an even more difficult economic period in coming years. That affects Vestas and the rest of the wind energy sector,” says Vestas CEO Ditlev Engel.
