The Danish support warship Absalon, which is on anti-piracy patrol off Somalia, released seven pirates over the weekend and sent them back to Somalia.
Coordination with a Japanese monitoring aircraft and one of the Absalon’s helicopters netted a fast boat containing the pirates, who were questioned and their boat searched.
