The terrorism threat against Denmark has not increased in the wake of the recent politically motivated mass murder in Norway, but the threat should still be taken very seriously, Intelligence and Security Service (PET) Chief Jakob Scharf tells Politiken.dk.
“The threat picture has become very dynamic , fragmented, complex and not least global – and that presents us with some challenges. The threat can come from several extremist environments – both political and religious,” Scharf says.
