The Socialist People’s Party would be the smallest party of the centre-left if an election were held now, according to the latest Megafon poll for Politiken and TV2.
Since the election on Sept. 15, the coalition Socialist People’s Party has dropped from 9.2 per cent to 7.0 per cent, while the Red Greens have increased their following from 6.7 per cent to 7.5 per cent. The Socialist People’s Party figure compares to the party’s poll following 18 months ago of some 18.1 per cent, while the Red Greens at the time had 2.5 per cent – close to the 2 per cent electoral threshold.
