Public transport prices are to increase by 3.1 per cent in the New Year, despite promises by the current government during the election campaign of better conditions for public transport.
“Unfortunately a price rise is unavoidable. We have to follow the general price and wage increases, and our costs have risen considerably in recent years, among other things, fuel prices,” says DSB Sales Director Anne-Lise Bach Sørensen, adding that bus and train ticket prices have not increased as much as other consumer items in recent years.
