Travelling groups of credit card fraudsters have specialised in de-coding credit cards and using the information to empty bank accounts, according to Søren Winge of Nets, which administers the Danish Dankort system.
“These criminal networks are very organised and extensive, so it is very difficult to get those who are behind it,” Winge says, adding the groups are very mobile.
