As the Danish presidency of the EU looms ever larger, the Danish Prime Minister Helle Thorning-Schmidt is on her way to Brussels for what she terms an historic summit to save the euro.
“We may say this often – but this meeting is in fact historic,” Thorning-Schmidt says of the summit of 27 EU countries today on how to handle the debt crisis that is threatening all 27 member countries.
