Former Prime Minister Lars Løkke Rasmussen may still be the most popular politician in the country, but his credibility rating in connection with allegations of Tax Ministry meddling in the private tax affairs of Prime Minister Helle Thorning-Schmidt is at a low ebb.
Although Løkke Rasmussen has repeatedly said that he has neither known about nor been party to abuse of power in the case, only 20 per cent seem convinced, according to a Megafon poll for Politiken and TV2.
