Christmas rail traffic is hanging in the balance after 400 employees at the national railway corporation DSB’s repair and maintenance workshop in Aarhus decided to down tools in a strike over conditions.
“They are unhappy that management has not responded to the demands they have made. Management wants to meet us again, but not immediately. They can’t meet until next week, and members felt that was not good enough,” says Shop Steward Elo Palm Jensen.
