The labour market crisis is worse than expected according to Danske Bank’s Chief Economist Steen Bocian after having studied the latest figures from Statistics Denmark.
The figures show that Third Quarter employment dropped by a seasonally adjusted 17,000 or 0.6 per cent compared with the previous Quarter, somewhat worse than previous figures which suggested a drop of 12,000 people. Statistics Denmark says that private employment dropped by 10,100 people in Q3 while employment in the public sector dropped by 6,900.
