The final withdrawal of American troops from Iraq marks the end of one of the most tragic wars of recent years.
The war is an icon of the ideologically-driven foreign policy of the Bush era. An era in which manipulated intelligence and radical stereotypes were allowed to out-trump international law and considered reflection. All of those who allowed themselves be drawn in share responsibility. Including Denmark.
